daily mass meets sustainability topics: come listen to fr. peter walsh as he integrates issues of sustainability in his daily sermon. mass will be held monday through friday from 12:00 - 12:30 pm, and sundays at 10:30 am and 9:00 pm in our lady queen of peace chapel.
tree tags: tree tags will be displayed on the trees by ragsdale center with unique information on each tree.

- tree campus usa table
learn about the mulching event on april 25 and how to identify some trees on campus by looking at the tree leaves. sponsored by facilities and the office of sustainability.

learn about the impacts of toxic chemicals used in manufacturing and create your own nontoxic alternatives to common household products. hosted by ensp 2341 – chemistry in the environment.
- free lead testing for tap water
bring a water sample from your home and students will test water for lead levels as a free service to the campus community. hosted by ensp 2341 – chemistry in the environment.
- bon appétit farm to fork
meet the vendors who supply our campus including texas coffee traders, johnson’s backyard garden, augustus ranch, and common market. try samples and get your questions answered. sponsored by bon appétit.
- diy bird feeders from recycled plastic bottles plus a coloring area and raffles
create your own bird feeder to enjoy at home this spring. plus de-stress with a coloring area and enter a raffle for native plants. sponsored by wild basin creative research center.

april rose, a certified arborist and urban forest health program coordinator with the city of austin, will lead a guided walk across campus to learn about our trees and how to identify them. sponsored by the tree campus usa committee.
12:30 - 1:00 pm, climate ribbon tree ceremony at ragsdale center seal
what do you hope to never lose to climate chaos? at the ceremony, ribbons from students, faculty, and staff will be read aloud. the group commitments weave a giant ribbon among all of us for a healthy, sustainable planet.
6:30 - 9:00 pm, students for sustainability poetry slam at jo's coffee
